You Can Stop the Clock!
Water based products have a tendency to dry quickly. Usually this
is a good thing. However, sometimes you need slower drying time.
JW ETC'S OpenTime lets you work easily with waterbased products by
extending the drying time. Add time to ALL your waterbased paints,
stains, sealers, even varnishes. Adding just water to thin or give
more drying time can change the formula. An extender/retarder allows
you to determine the amount of extra time you need when applying
paint, stain, varnish, etc.
OpenTime is great when used for faux finishing , glazing and/or antiquing.
Simple to use, just add a small amount to the product you are using,
adding more, if you need more open time. It is suggested to keep
the extender at less than a 1 to 1 mixture with the product you are
using.
OpenTime is nontoxic and cleans up with water.
